How we scored these services
Scores are out of ten and weighted toward the things that make people cancel. Stability during peak hours carries the most weight, because a service that buffers between 7pm and 11pm is unusable regardless of how many channels it lists. Real cost per month comes second — not the headline monthly price, but what you actually pay divided by the months you get.
After that: how quickly support answers a real ticket, whether the electronic programme guide and catch-up features work as advertised, and how much friction stands between deciding to try the service and having credentials in your inbox.
What we deliberately do not score: raw channel counts. Every service on this list claims a number in the tens of thousands, none of those numbers is audited, and a list padded with dead feeds is worth less than a shorter working one.
What you should actually pay
The monthly prices here cluster between $14.99 and $15, which tells you the monthly rate is not where these services compete. The annual plans are, and they range from $100 to $156 — a difference of more than fifty percent for broadly similar products.
If you are confident you want IPTV, the annual plan is the only sensible purchase. If you are not sure yet, take a trial first and then a single month, and accept that you are paying a premium for that flexibility.
